Report: WWE Letting Talent Enter The Performance Center Even If They Have A High Temperature In "Special Circumstances"

Last night, WWE announced a developmental talent who was at last week's tapings had tested positive for COVID-19. The company cancelled today's tapings so all staff could be tested and is planning to resume production tomorrow. 

WWE talent also didn't find out about the positive test until the news broke and NXT Superstars in the crowd have been banned from wearing face masks. 

Louis Dangoor at WrestleTalk has also revealed the wrestling behemoth is allowing talent to enter the WWE Performance Center even if they have a high temperature in "special circumstances." Until today, the company had not done a single coronavirus test and instead implemented other measures including a temperature check and filling out a questionnaire.

This is contrary to Stephanie McMahon's previous comments as she told Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated back in April that nobody with a temperature above 38 degrees celsius was allowed to enter the Performance Center.

McMahon said: "No one person, regardless of who they are, is allowed to enter if they have a temperature of over 100.4, or if they have been out of the country or been in touch with someone who has been out of the country."
