Ricochet 365 Special To Air On WWE Network

After an "incredible" year...

Yesterday, WWE announced a 365 special chronicling the past year of Ricochet's career will air on the WWE Network this Sunday.

The WWE Network tweeted: "An incredible year for @KingRicochet takes center stage THIS SUNDAY on an all-new #WWE365!"

The announcement was quickly met with derision from the wresting world as many would hardly consider the last year of The One And Only's career "incredible."

The past 365 days started off with success as Ricochet defeated Samoa Joe to capture the United States Championship at Stomping Grounds. The former Lucha Underground star then featured in a high profile feud with AJ Styles until SummerSlam, but The Phenomenal One ended The One And Only's reign as US Champion after 21 days. Following the loss, Ricochet floated around Monday Night Raw's mid-card and was part of Team Hogan at Crown Jewel 2019.

He was seemingly on course for better things in 2020 as he was booked to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Super ShowDown, but the former North American Champion failed to land a single piece of offence against The Beast Incarnate and was destroyed within 90 seconds.

Since that loss, Vince McMahon has reportedly given up on The One and Only and he has lost to the likes of Riddick Moss, Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink, and Austin Theory and Murphy. Ricochet hadn't even appeared on Raw in over a month until last night when he was defeated by Bobby Lashley.
