Stipulation Added To AJ Styles Vs. The Undertaker At WWE WrestleMania 36

Will AJ Styles Rest In Peace...

When it was first rumoured that The Undertaker's opponent at WrestleMania 36 would be AJ Styles, many in the wrestling world were excited about the prospect of The Phenom vs. The Phenomenal One. Since the two Superstars first interacted at Super ShowDown, however, interest in the match has waned considerably, with the storyline drawing much criticism.

While Styles has been praised for using aspects of Mark Calaway's life, his argument that The Undertaker is too old to wrestle has been disparaged for making little sense, especially after The Deadman defeated him at Super ShowDown without even taking off his hat or coat.

Now, WWE is seemingly looking to add some spice back into the rivalry, as Styles announced during last night's episode of Monday Night Raw that the two Superstars will face off in a Boneyard match. How the match plays out remains to be seen, but it will take place away from the WWE Performance Center. Dave Meltzer confirmed last week that all gimmick matches will instead be taped at multiple closed set locations.
