The Usos Vs. LWO Set For Next Week's WWE SmackDown

The Usos will take on Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar

A big match has been set for next week’s WWE SmackDown as Jimmy & Jey of The Usos will go up against Latino World Order members Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar in a first-time ever tag team encounter.

After The Usos were reprimanded and embarrassed by The Bloodline’s leader and their very own cousin Roman Reigns in a segment on SmackDown, they encountered the LWO backstage. The Usos started the verbal altercation, to which the LWO mocked them for Reigns “not loving them” anymore. This led to a match being announced for next week’s May 19 episode of SmackDown between the two sides.

The Usos were put down by Reigns due to their failure to win back the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles from Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, and this was followed up by the announcement that Reigns and Solo Sikoa would be going for the belts instead at the Night of Champions 2023 event.

The matches and segments announced for next week’s SmackDown is as follows;

  • The Usos vs. LWO (Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar)
  • ‘Grayson Waller Effect’ with AJ Styles
  • Pretty Deadly vs. Brawling Brutes
  • The Bloodline face-to-face with Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens
