TNA Talent Rules Out Crossing Over To WWE NXT

While the collaboration between TNA Wrestling and WWE NXT is expected to continue in the coming weeks, one TNA talent has ruled out being involved. 

Speaking on a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Rhino said he wouldn't be a part of any crossover and he doesn't expect to be unless plans are made for WWE to be in Detroit, his hometown. 

"Oh no (Rhino responded when asked if he'll be part of the WWE-TNA crossover)... No. Unless they show up in Detroit but I don't think so," Rhino said.

Rhino has a long history with WWE, having performed for the company as Rhyno across two stints from 2001 until 2005 and then from 2015 until 2019. Rhino signed with TNA Wrestling after his WWE runs ended on both occasions and he has been a part of TNA since 2019. The Man Beast continues to wrestle for the promotion, including as recently as early May when he defeated VSK on the Under Siege pre-show. 

WWE NXT and TNA have worked together in recent weeks and TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace unsuccessfully challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Title at Battleground on Sunday, June 9. WWE NXT are expected to have a presence at TNA Against All Odds and Slammiversary and there is interest from NXT talents in working with the likes of Josh Alexander, Leon Slater, and Joe Hendry.
