Tony D'Angelo's Debut & Three Matches Set For October 5 WWE NXT 2.0

Three matches and the debut of Tony D'Angelo have been confirmed for the October 5 episode of WWE NXT 2.0.

WWE have confirmed that D'Angelo will be making his first showing on NXT, after appearing in vignettes over the past couple of weeks. The pre-taped packages hyping D'Angelo began airing on the first episode of NXT 2.0 two weeks ago. It has not been confirmed if D'Angelo - real name Joe Ariola - will be in action.

It has also been announced that LA Knight and Odyssey Jones will compete against each other in singles action. Jones pointed out to Knight on the September 21 NXT 2.0 that he had lost two matches on the 14 September show, leading to Knight challenging Jones this week. The former Million Dollar Champion then attacked Jones backstage following a distraction.

There will also be an eight-man tag-team match as NXT Tag Team Champions MSK team up with Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen to take on the Grizzled Young Veterans, Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams.

Finally, Cora Jade will also be in action, but the opponent for the October 5 NXT 2.0 is yet to be announced.
