Update On Keith Lee Amid AEW Absence

Latest on Keith Lee amid his absence from AEW

Keith Lee has provided an update on his absence from All Elite Wrestling, noting on X (FKA Twitter) that he is doing everything possible to "get things handled."

After a fan asked where he was, Lee replied: "Doing everything I can to get things handled. Unexpectedly, It turns out I got some more than decent people in my corner. They know who they are.... and I am forever appreciative. All will be well in time. They will help me get done, what needs to be done."

Lee has been out of action since December 2023, with a singles match against Swerve Strickland at the Worlds End pay-per-view being scrapped only hours before the show as Lee was not cleared to compete. Lee noted ahead of the show that he had been dealing with an injury for over a year that had only worsened. He underwent double surgery in early 2024.

When Keith Lee will return to All Elite Wrestling is unknown. He has been a part of the company since 2022 and Lee is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion with Swerve Strickland.

Strickland addressed his unfinished business with Keith Lee, telling Highspots: "Every time we try to start the business, it doesn't go anywhere. I think he's dealing with health issues right now, so that's up in the air."
