Vince McMahon Thinks A Physical WWE Hall Of Fame Would Be ‘A Waste Of Money’

Safe to say Mr. McMahon isn’t keen on the idea

Since the introduction of WWE’s Hall of Fame in 1993, wrestling fans the world over have wanted WWE to have a physical Hall of Fame building, to honour stars of wrestling’s past, but as long as Vince McMahon is in charge it won’t likely happen.

In response to the debut of ‘WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures’ on A&E - a television programme highlighting lost treasures and rare memorabilia - a fan asked Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer whether the purpose of the show is to lead to a physical Hall of Fame building.

Meltzer revealed that Vince McMahon has always seen the idea of a physical Hall of Fame as a ‘waste of money’ despite people such as Triple H having been in favour of the idea since at least 2013.

Meltzer continued that the show’s collecting of historical WWE items could be for a hall of fame, but he isn’t sure if it will happen any time soon. There are also no plans from WWE to operate such a building at the time being.
