WWE Executive Receives Promotion

WWE promotes an executive

WWE have promoted one of their executives.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Chris Legentil has been officially promoted to Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Head of Communications. Legentil has been a part of WWE since April 2021, joining the company from DAZN as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Communications.

Legentil has been responsible for WWE's communications strategy in recent years and he later added talent relations to his plate. He was previously Senior Vice President of Global Communications at DAZN where he helped launch the sports streaming platform in the United States in 2018 and later the company’s global platform in 2020.

There is no word on why WWE decided to promote Chris Legentil. The executive recently popped up in TheWrap, telling the outlet that Dwayne Johnson was not late for WrestleMania 40. The Rock still fuelled unhappiness within the company during his recent run, though, due to him taking credit for WWE's increase in popularity in recent years.

Key executives within WWE include WWE President Nick Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque.
