WWE Raw Results - November 29, 2021

Another week, another Raw

WWE headed to the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York for the November 29 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Raw opened with Seth Rollins and The Architect revealed to the fans in attendance that he would challenge Big E for the WWE Title at the Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1. Rollins didn't have long to speak before Finn Balor interrupted, though, and The Prince attacked Seth before their scheduled match.

Balor's attack didn't faze Rollins much and he managed to prevent The Prince from hitting the Coup De Grace once the match got underway, countering with a Superplex into a Falcon Arrow. Rollins then later avoided another Coup De Grace and the former WWE Champion escaped a Reverse DDT with a thumb to the eye while the referee wasn't looking.

This gave Rollins the opening he needed and Seth followed up with the Stomp for the 1-2-3.

This wasn't Rollins' only involvement on Raw, though, as Kevin Owens caught up with The Architect backstage and planted in his mind that KO had been added to the WWE Title match at Day 1. Rollins was so enraged by the suggestion that he went to see Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville about it, unintentionally presenting the idea to them.

To earn a spot in the match, however, Owens would have to defeat Big E in the main event of Raw. Luckily for KO, he had a plan and the second-ever Universal Champion repeatedly goaded Rollins at ringside, slapping and later attacking Seth. This ultimately paid dividends as Rollins attacked Owens, meaning KO won the match by DQ and thus made the WWE Title match at Day 1 a Triple Threat.

Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch also signed the contract for the Raw Women's Title match next week during a segment that set up a 10-Woman Tag Team Match for later in the night. In that match, Team Liv (Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Nikki A.S.H and Dana Brooke) managed to defeat Team Becky (Becky Lynch, Carmella, Queen Zelina, Tamina & Doudrop) after Morgan decked Tamina with Oblivion. Lynch then attacked the challenger after the match but Morgan stood tall following an Oblivion to Big-Time Becks.

Edge also returned to Raw on Monday, appearing on WWE TV for the first time since he defeated Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel. The Rated-R Superstar mentioned he was looking to face new blood, only to be interrupted by The Miz and Maryse. The former world champions then traded insults for a few minutes in a segment that will mostly be remembered for Edge mentioning that Miz was used to score cheap heat on AEW Dynamite. The A-Lister then challenged Edge to a fight, which didn't take place in Long Island.

Big plans are on the horizon for Austin Theory too as Vince McMahon took the egg thief under his wing. McMahon warned Theory never to steal from him again, though, or he would risk being murdered by the WWE chairman. Segments of McMahon and Theory would then appear throughout the night and McMahon taught his protege a valuable lesson to expect the unexpected by slapping him.
