WWE Reportedly Have No Plans To Work With Alberto Del Rio Again

WWE reportedly have no plans regarding a potential return to the company for Alberto Del Rio, despite rumours to the contrary. 

Reports last month suggested that Del Rio has been telling people he is gearing up for a third run in WWE but Fightful Select are reporting that those within WWE say they've heard of no recent talk between the promotion and the former WWE Champion. 

Fightful note that one source was particularly frank in their assessment of the situation, noting how bad it would look to welcome Del Rio back after releasing waves of other wrestlers, before saying: "There's no f**king way that happens."

The report also says that, upon previously enquiring about a potential return to WWE for Del Rio, Fightful was informed that the company does not want to put Paige - Del Rio's former fiancée - in a position where she has to be around him again if they can help it.

It is noted that there is no interest in booking Del Rio from the other major American promotions either.
