X-Pac To Undergo Surgery On Torn Biceps

X-Pac on the shelf with torn biceps

X-Pac's return to the squared circle has been paused.

Sean Waltman competed in his first singles match since 2014 at Joey Janela's Spring Break 6 Part 1 on Thursday, taking on The Bad Boy.

Janela would ultimately win their match, Low-Blowing X-Pac before he connected with a Superkick for the victory.

Following the contest, Waltman revealed on Twitter that he actually worked the match with torn biceps before he announced he would need to undergo surgery.

"I tried to keep this on the down-low, but I tore my bicep in the tag match a month ago. I'm going to have surgery soon & then have a few more matches," X-Pac tweeted.

Waltman suffered the injury in his return match in February at GCW Welcome To Heartbreak when he teamed with Janela to take on The Major Players of Matt Cardona and Brian Myers. Janela turned on X-Pac after the match, though, which led to their Spring Break bout.

Waltman had previously been out of the ring since 2019 but he revealed in late 2021 that he had been cleared to return to the squared circle following knee surgery earlier that year.
