What WWE's Touring Schedule Will Look Like When SmackDown Moves To Fox Revealed

Just two months away...

Seems like just yesterday that the news broke about WWE SmackDown Live moving to the FOX network in October 2019. And here we are today, just two months away from the October 4 premiere, which will shake up the WWE schedule as we know it.

And that's not just the TV schedule, either. With SmackDown airing live on Fridays, this will also change the touring schedule for the SmackDown brand.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the schedule will be updated to begin the SmackDown touring loop with those live Friday night broadcasts. This will be followed by house shows on Saturdays and Sundays, but no mention of Mondays. In 2019, a number of Monday night live events for SmackDown have been canceled last minute, to accommodate the "wild card" rule.

This is contra to the current formula, where Tuesday night SmackDown tapings close out the work week for the blue-branders, after running weekend (and some Monday) house shows.

Raw's touring loop is not expected to change from its current formula, which is live events on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, before closing out with Raw on Monday.
