Adam “Hangman” Page On The Creative Freedom AEW Allows Its Wrestlers

All Out takes place on August 31...

The topic of creative freedom was brought to the forefront of the minds of professional wrestling fans the world over after Jon Moxley's scathing comments about Vince McMahon's creative process on Talk Is Jericho back in May.

Adam Page, who will wrestle Jericho for the vacant AEW World Championship at All Out on August 31, appeared on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio to speak about the freedom AEW have given their stars during the company's three official events to date: "I think that is maybe something people are not used to," said Hangman.

"We have done three shows. I haven’t for the first time ever had someone tell me what to say. I am doing what I want to do. These things are in my hands. I don’t think anyone has 100 per cent complete control in what they are doing at any time, but I think giving more power back to the wrestlers to be creative, I think more than just competing in the ring I like to be creative, which is hard to do when you are not allowed to. I think AEW letting some of those wrestlers have that input is massive."
