AEW Dynamite Gains TV Clearance In Canada

Just in time for the premiere...

With less than 48 hours to go before the premiere episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, All Elite Wrestling has at last gained TV clearance in Canada.

PWInsider reports that TSN will broadcast AEW Dynamite live on Wednesday night in the 8 PM EST time slot.

An official announcement from All Elite Wrestling is still pending.

TSN was previously the home of WWE Monday Night Raw from 1995 to 2006, before the show moved to The Score (today Sportsnet 360). Since then, pro wrestling has not aired on TSN, outside of the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. A deal to bring TNA Impact to TSN back in 2004 fell through.

It was a week ago that Dynamite's UK TV deal with ITV4 was announced, on which the show will air on considerable tape delay on Sunday mornings, followed by a condensed one-hour version on Monday nights.

International viewers are able to watch the show live through AEW Plus, a Fite.TV service that charges $4.99 per month. AEW President Tony Khan has since stated that he's trying to work out a deal with ITV4 to air the show on Thursdays.
