AEW Pull Darby Allin And Sammy Guevara From WrestleCon

Other stars will be in attendance...

WrestleCon is set to take place at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida over WrestleMania 36 weekend. A number of stars from the professional wrestling world will be at the convention including Mike Tyson, The Great Muta and Scott Steiner.

All Elite Wrestling is also set to have a big presence at the con with Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Orange Cassidy and others available for photo opportunities and autograph signings. Two stars who will not appear, however, are Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara as WrestleCon recently confirmed that AEW cancelled their bookings.

The young promotion has seemingly decided the pair are of better use elsewhere as they have been booked in to appear at The Great Philadelphia Comic Con instead.

Jeremy Lambert at Fightful reached out to WrestleCon to find out what had happened, only to be told by the convention that AEW did not contact them directly when Allin's and Guevara's appearances were cancelled, meaning they were not given a reason as to why the change came about. AEW also neglected to provide replacements.
