AEW Revolution Sells Out In Under One Hour

Good news for the company...

Despite not having any official matches for the card as of yet, AEW Revolution sold out in under one hour on Friday.

AEW released a tweet saying, "#AEWRevolution is SOLD OUT! You did it! You actually did! In less than an hour - #AEWRevolution is sold out! However! - keeping checking AEWTIX.COM between now and show date as we will try to open up seats once production’s set up is finalized!"

AEW Revolution takes place on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL, in conjunction with the annual C2E2 convention.

Revolution marks AEW's second pay-per-view in Chicago, following August's All Out. The building seats just over 10,000 for basketball games.

While no matches are official for the event as of this writing, one assumes that, based on recent events, AEW World champion Chris Jericho may face Jon Moxley, while Cody Rhodes is likely to take on MJF in some sort of stipulation match. Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page is also possible, given their recent acrimony.

Dave Meltzer noted that AEW's last sellout was for the October 16 Dynamite in Philadelphia, writing that sellouts for both WWE and AEW have become rare in recent times.
