AEW Star's First Match Set For Revolution

He is planning to deliver some Big Hurt...

All Elite Wrestling's next pay-per-view Revolution is just over two weeks away and will be broadcast live from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. So far, the young promotion has announced Chris Jericho will defend his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley, and Cody Rhodes will face MJF if he defeats Wardlow inside a Steel Cage on next week's episode of Dynamite.

Another member of The Inner Circle is set to be in action on February 29 as AEW announced during last night's broadcast that Jake Hager will go one on one with Dustin Rhodes. The two have brawled constantly since Hager debuted back in October, and Big Hurt even broke Dustin's arm on October 31.

This will be Hager's first professional wrestling match in over six months. He last wrestled on August 24, 2019, at Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling and Big Time Wrestling's Four Years Of Blitzkrieg show, where he defeated Richard Holliday. The former WWE Champion has fought in MMA since joining AEW, however, as he faced Anthony Garrett at Bellator 231. The bout was ultimately ruled a no-contest after Hager delivered an accidental groin strike which prevented Garrett from continuing.

AEW Revolution will take place at the Wintrust Arena on February 29 in Chicago, Illinois. The announced card so far is as follows:

  • Chris Jericho (c) vs. Jon Moxley - AEW World Championship

  • Jake Hager vs. Dustin Rhodes
