Ali Giving His WWE Super ShowDown Earnings To Charity

A noble move from the high-flying star...

Amid all of the controversy surrounding WWE's ten-year deal to run bi-annual shows in Saudi Arabia, it is nice to see some positives come out of the arrangement. In the case of Ali, he's making the most of his part in WWE Super ShowDown.

The agile SmackDown Live star took part in the 51-man battle royal on Friday that was ultimately won by Mansoor, Hours after Super ShowDown came to a close, Ali tweeted about what he intends to do with his payoff from the event.

Said Ali, "Earnings received today will be donated to @charitywater. Thank you."

The official Twitter bio of charity: water reads, "We're bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in need around the world."

The top pinned tweet on their account states, "charity: water began with a bold promise: that 100% of public donations would always fund clean water for people in need. That's a promise we still proudly make today."
