Australian Sensation Reportedly Signing With WWE In January

Onto the next one...

WWE's rather aggressive approach to signing new talent has been making all kinds of headlines in recent times following the signing of PROGRESS World Champion WALTER, and the revelations surrounding the NXT UK talent and certain terms included in their respective contracts.

It appears the apparent mission to sign every single standout on the independent scene isn't coming to an end any time soon, as yet another incoming is expected through the door next month. According to F4WOnline, Australian powerhouse Jonah Rock - no relation to Man Mountain as far as I can see - is expected to start with WWE next month.

The quote is a short one taken from one of F4WOnline's daily updates, but nonetheless, here's what it says: "Australia's Jonah Rock is expected to start here in January."

That's all we have to go off...

As for Rock, he's a veteran of 11 years who may be known to those who watch wrestling in the Southern California area. Jonah appeared for PWG in their Battle of Los Angeles tournament earlier this year, defeating Sammy Guevara in the first round before losing to WALTER in the second.

The man known as "Monster" to many made his name in his native Australia, winning a myriad of titles over there including a catalogue of WR Australian National Championships, a PWA Heavyweight Championship, and an MCW Heavyweight Championship.

Rock is 30 years of age, stands 5 foot 11 and weighs a pretty THICC 275 pounds. His style is very much power-based, and he's been known to hit a gnarly Death Drop Driver and King Kong Lariat from time-to-time.
