Batista Reportedly In Talks With Both AEW & WWE About Wrestling Return
Dave Bautista will be wrestling in 2019 it seems...
I know, I know... "EVERYONE'S IN TALKS WITH AEW " at the moment, aren't they?
Well, it looks like this story could have a lot more validity to it than most being bandied about at the moment as both Pro Wrestling Sheet and Dave Meltzer are reporting that former WWE Champion, Batista, is negotiating with WWE and AEW about a wrestling return.
PWS initially broke the story with Meltzer later backing it up. It's said The Animal is currently "50-50" about a return to WWE due to how negotiations are going at the moment. At the time of writing, it's said that Mr. Bautista is willing to listen to AEW and what they have to say.
Before Crown Jewel last year, it looked pretty much nailed on that Batista would be facing Triple H at WrestleMania 35, with the pair having an awkward interaction or two during the Evolution reunion at SmackDown Live 1000.
However, with The Game injuring his pectoral muscle during that DX vs. Brothers of Destruction tag team match in Saudi Arabia, the matchup looks to be in jeopardy. It's been reported that Triple H has already been cleared for an in-ring return.
