Bayley Believes WWE Didn’t Give Her & Sasha Banks A Chance With Women's Tag Team Championships

Two chances to defend them and they were gone...

It's clear that certain assurances were made to both Bayley and Sasha Banks when WWE made The Boss 'N' Hug Connection the first-ever WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

The Four Horsewomen won the newly minted titles at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view back in February before appearing on NXT TV to announce that they would be defending the titles on all brands under the WWE banner.

However, that didn't end up happening for The Legit Boss or The Hugger as they dropped the titles to the IIconics at WrestleMania 35 in what was only their second title defence.

Bayley, ahead of her SmackDown Live Women's Championship match against challenger Ember Moon tomorrow at SummerSlam, has been speaking to talkSPORT and has commented on her run as a Women's Tag Team Champion - as well as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, who themselves lost the titles on this week's Raw after not being allowed to do anything with them on TV: “We thought Sasha and I would be given that chance and we weren’t. We then thought the IIconics would get that chance, they didn’t really.”
