Brie Bella Confirms Retirement During Episode Of Total Bellas

Recorded months ago...

After several tenures in WWE as an active wrestler and general on-screen personality, Brie Bella declared on Sunday night's episode of Total Bellas that she is "fully retired" from professional wrestling.

Bella made the announcement to her family in a moment that was recorded before the Evolution pay-per-view last October. She stated that her retirement would be official after the event, and that she and husband Daniel Bryan would be moving back to Phoenix, AZ.

Brie did not actually wrestle on said pay-per-view; instead, as it stands, her apparent final match took place on the October 8, 2018 episode of Raw, in which she, sister Nikki, and Ronda Rousey defeated The Riott Squad. It was after that match the Bellas turned on Rousey to set up Nikki's title match at Evolution.

Brie made her main roster debut in August 2008, and was joined shortly after by Nikki, who had been running the "Twin Magic" trickery angle with her in secret. Brie would hold the WWE Divas title on one occasion, defeating Eve Torres for the belt in April 2011.
