CM Punk Responds To Calls To Join AEW
Punk responded to a rather pointed question on Twitter.
Even before AEW was launched, there were calls for CM Punk to be involved with The Elite. Speculation was rampant as to whether the former WWE Champion would show up at ALL IN, especially given his presence at a meet and greet taking place over the same weekend.
Punk has now shed some possible light on his mindset towards appearing in AEW. A fan on Twitter asked 'are you gonna disappoint your fans by not showing up at AEW?' to which Punk simply replied 'Yes.'

Given Punk's history of toying with our expectations, it's probably worth taking these comments with a pinch of salt. While he's never openly expressed a desire to appear for AEW (in either a wrestling or non-wrestling capacity), this tweet shouldn't automatically invalidate any speculation regarding a Punk appearance.
Cody Rhodes has been consistently open about recognising Punk's value, and has stated in several interviews that the door is always open for the Chicago star.
