CM Punk To Appear At Starrcast III For One-On-One Interview
All set for AEW All Out weekend...
CM Punk will be making an appearance at Starrcast III during AEW All Out weekend next month.
The former WWE Champion will be at Starrcast on Saturday, August 31 per a report from Sports Illustrated. "His appearance at Starrcast includes a one-on-one interview, as well as meet-and-greets that same day," their report continues.
SI's report also clarifies that the appearance is for Starrcast only, and nothing has been set up for the All Out pay-per-view later that same day.
“A highlight is easily anytime anyone has a story,” Punk told SI. “I do about one signing a year and the best part is always finding out how you’ve touched people’s lives in a meaningful way. A lot of it can be heavy; helped someone get clean, helped somehow with the loss of a loved one. I am always touched to know the private intimate stories people have.”
“We wanted to bring something unique and that hasn’t been done before at Starrcast,” said the event's head honcho, Conrad Thompson. “I’ve always wanted to have Punk at Starrcast but the timing was never right, and I’m really excited that the stars have aligned for this August."
Starrcast is taking place at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg in Schaumburg, Illinois from Thursday, August 29 to Sunday, September 1.
