Commentator Vic Joseph Takes New Job Outside WWE

Calling the play-by-play elsewhere...

Commentator Vic Joseph (real name Victor Travagliante) has done the play-by-play on numerous WWE shows since joining the company in 2017. He initially started as the Lead Announcer on Main Event and 205 Live and added NXT UK to his workload in October 2018. Joseph's work was seemingly recognised in September 2019, as he was announced as the new play-by-play commentator on Monday Night Raw. However, WWE decided to make a change after the January 20 episode as he has since been replaced by Tom Phillips.

Joseph is set to keep himself busy, however, as he recently announced on Instagram that he will be part of the NBA Network's coverage of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second half of the 2020 season. Despite accepting a job outside the company, Joseph is still employed by WWE.

He wrote on Instagram: "Thanks to the @NBA, @Cavs, @thespencermiller and @dramakingwwe for the Chicago hospitality! Was nice to be back around the game that helped my career grow. Looking forward to being a small part of @NBATV in the 2nd half of the season! #DefendTheLand #Cavs."

Joseph is going back to his roots with his new role, as before joining WWE, he covered the Cleveland Browns for the Browns Radio Network.
