Daniel Bryan Claims He's "On The Verge" Of Getting Vegan Alternative WWE Championship Strap

Just before the TLC pay-per-view in back in December, 'The New' Daniel Bryan claimed that if he successfully defended his WWE title against AJ Styles that he would be looking to replace the leather championship strap with a vegan alternative.

Of course, D-Bry did retain - but since then, the new strap hasn't been referenced at all on television aside from Corey Graves wrongfully claiming that Bryan had it replaced behind closed doors.

Thankfully, we now have some clarity on the issue surrounding Daniel's WWE Championship from the man himself, who was interviewed by Shane Dale of ABC15 Sports in Pheonix earlier today (you can see the full interview here).

When asked about the championship, Bryan said: "Changing corporate things takes time. Now, I'm on the verge, I'm on the verge of getting this changed. But to get it changed I have to retain my Championship at the Royal Rumble on Sunday so that is my number one priority."

You just know that should Bryan retain on Sunday and the same question is asked before Elimination Chamber next month, he's going to say the same thing. And when he's asked the same question before Fastlane... you know how it goes.
