Daniel Bryan Discusses WWE Retirement Plans

Are we about to say goodbye again?

The WWE future of Daniel Bryan always seems to be at the front of people’s minds.  Bryan discussed it openly as a guest on The Bellas Podcast.

When asked about the next stage of his wrestling career Bryan said: “My retirement from full-time wrestling which will be coming up sooner rather than later in the next couple of years, that probably won’t mean retirement for [Brie] for how busy you are.  It will probably be me taking on more of the parental role.”

It was a heartbreaking episode of Monday Night RAW on February 8, 2016, when Daniel Bryan gave an emotional farewell to the ring.

Since making his comeback in 2018, Bryan has been a part of the SmackDown Live roster first as a babyface alongside Shane McMahon, then alongside Kane in a Team Hell No reunion, and then as a heel in the role of The Planet's Champion.

The former WWE Champion, now having got the chance to come back and perform at the highest level again, appears to be very at peace with the idea of stepping away and spending more time at home.
