Last week on WWE SmackDown Live, Roman Reigns produced some footage that didn’t really prove anything as The Big Dog continues to look for the person who has been attacking him over recent times.
The grainy footage appeared to show Rowan pushing over some boxes that landed next to Roman AFTER some scaffolding had already fallen on top of the former Universal Champion. Although, the man in the clip could also have easily been the random man Bryan and Rowan presented to Reigns on SmackDown Live a couple of weeks ago.
Upon seeing the inconclusive footage, however, Daniel Bryan lost it – he blasted Rowan for betraying his trust before taking to the ring where Reigns Speared him.
In response, Bryan has released a statement via WWE.com: “Roman Reigns speared me last week and I understand his frustration. I know how it looks. I know a lot of people don’t like me and I know I seem guilty by association, but that doesn’t make me a liar. Erick Rowan is the one to blame and I have had nothing to do with this. Therefore, I still deserve an apology from Roman Reigns.”
We’ll have to wait and see what unfolds during this week’s SmackDown Live.
