Dean Ambrose Situation Has WWE Reportedly Offering Certain Stars Longer Deals

Talks were had at this week's SmackDown Live...

The Dean Ambrose situation has WWE, and its Universe, whipped up into a frenzy.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? WWE appear to be caught in a landslide as the Dean Ambrose situation looks like being more of a 'shoot' rather than part of an elaborate storyline - read why here.

With Ambrose reportedly turning down a five-year deal with a seven-figure downside, it looks like the company are in the process of making sure fellow top stars whose deals are running down don't follow in the lunatic's footsteps.

According to a report from PWInsider, talents were offered longer-term deals at this week's SmackDown. To avoid any doubt in the report, here is what PWInsider have found out: “After the Dean Ambrose news came out on late Monday/early Tuesday, there was a buzz of activity backstage at SmackDown as anybody who had a contract that was coming up in the next year or two was pulled into rooms and spoken to by management about signing longer form deals.

"All the wrestlers were sitting around looking at each other and going ‘would you look at this? this is crazy!’”
