Elias gradually captured the imaginations of the WWE Universe over the first year-or-so of his main roster run. But more recently, amid rumour and innuendo that the powers that be in the company don’t believe he’s quite got the charisma to be a big star, The Drifter’s career has sadly floundered.
Despite being relegated to a role with no real storyline behind it, Elias has been talking to Wrestlezone’s Kevin Kellam on WKQX Radio, and has named a couple of dream WrestleMania opponents – John Cena and The Undertaker.
“At Wrestlemania, I’d love to wrestle John Cena,” Elias said.
“I’ve got a lot of issues with that guy. I’ve got issues with The Undertaker, I’d love to take The Undertaker out. I think ‘The Living Truth vs. The Deadman’ is a great story right there. Those are two guys I have in my sights right now, and one way or another I’d like to get a hold of them right now.”
Of course, at WrestleMania 34, Elias interacted with John Cena before The Deadman’s eventual arrival to squash the leader of the Cenation.
