First Match Made Official For WWE Crown Jewel (Raw Spoilers)

Will feature multiple competitors...

It doesn't appear that we're getting a sequel to the WWE World Cup, since it'd be unfair for everybody else to have to go up against incumbent Best in the World Shane McMahon. Instead, WWE's going in a different direction for the second annual Crown Jewel.

During the Miz TV segment of Monday Night Raw, with guests Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, it was announced that there would be a ten-man tag, in which Hogan and Flair would act as coaches for their respective five-man squads.

Thus far, Hogan's team will include Seth Rollins and Rusev, while Flair's contingent has Randy Orton and Baron Corbin. The remaining three members of each team will likely be determined over the coming weeks.

There was an angle on Raw in which Orton and Corbin attacked Rollins, prompting Rusev to make the save.

Crown Jewel is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, from King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hogan's participation in the event was made official days ago, while The Undertaker is also scheduled to be part of the card as well.
