Further Details About WWE King Of The Ring 2019 Revealed

Tournament returns next week on Raw...

Last night on WWE Raw the company announced the return of the King Of The Ring tournament for the first time in four years.

All we knew coming out of last night's show was the tournament is kicking off during next week's Raw. Luckily, Dave Meltzer has been able to find out more details.

Meltzer reports this year's KOTR will be a multi-week tournament on both Raw and SmackDown Live with the finals taking place at next month's Clash Of Champions PPV.

While Meltzer hasn't been able to find out what any of the first round matches will be next week, WWE have published the full list of Superstars who will be competing in the tournament.

SmackDown Live

  • Buddy Murphy

  • Ali

  • Apollo Crews


King Of The Ring debuted in WWE all the way back in 1985 as a house show event, before becoming an annual pay-per-view between 1993-2002.

Wade Barrett won the last KOTR in 2015, defeating PAC (then Neville) in the finals.
