Jeff Hardy Arrested For DWI In North Carolina

According to report...

WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested Thursday evening in Moore County, NC on charges of driving while impaired, as confirmed by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Aside from Hardy officially being released by authorities at 11:30 PM Thursday night, few other details have been given, due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.

This marks Hardy's third arrest since the start of 2018. In March 2018, Hardy was involved in a single-car accident in Concord, NC while impaired, for which he was issued a small fine, and performed community service.

In July of this year, Hardy was arrested in South Carolina for alleged public intoxication and impairment, after being found passed out in a public stairwell. For that, he was issued a $153 fine.

The 42-year-old Hardy has been sidelined since April with a leg injury that brought a sudden end to he and brother Matt's SmackDown Tag Team title reign. He was expected at the time to miss most of the remainder of 2019.

WWE's statement on the matter simply read, "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions."
