Jim Ross Reveals The Latest On AEW's Weekly TV Show

WWE Hall of Famer fills us in...

Not too long ago All Elite Wrestling reportedly filed to trademark Wednesday Night Dynamite, fueling speculation on the possible name for their weekly TNT TV show. An official announcement is said to be coming this summer with the rumour and innuendo online having the new show debuting the same week WWE SmackDown Live moves over to Fox on Friday, October 4.

AEW announcer and Senior Advisor Jim Ross has provided the latest update on the two-hour weekly show during his appearance on the Steve Austin Show podcast.

Jim believes the new show will indeed be airing on Wednesday nights (there had been talk of Tuesday Night Dynamite being the show's name a few months ago) although Ross has been told "two or three different stories" as to the date it will actually start in October.

"It's early October," said JR.

"I think it's going to air on a Wednesday night, but that hasn't been confirmed to me. Tuesdays and Thursdays are big basketball nights on TNT, and we sure as hell don't want to dance around their basketball schedule. Logically, by process of elimination, it looks like it's going to be Wednesday."
