Latest On New WWE News Show Coming To FS1

Similar vein to Talking Smack?

Back on June 13 it was revealed by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE are going to be launching a news show on FS1 when SmackDown Live moves to Fox "that will essentially be the replacement for the old UFC Tonight show.”

The latest edition of the WON has an update on the new show, now saying that it will be a talk show with Renee Young at the wheel. For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what the latest WON had to say: "The weekly talk show on FS 1 is a done deal, as has already been announced, with Renee Young as the host. FOX wants everyone to promote WWE as a legitimate sport, not that the outcomes are real, but that it is a choreographed sports presentation as part of a Thursday through Sunday sports block in the fall with the NFL on Thursdays and Sundays and College Football on Saturdays."

Knowing what we know about the new show so far, comparisons will be made with Talking Smack, the WWE Network show Young hosted alongside the likes of Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon.

Taking place initially after episodes of SmackDown Live, and latterly after certain pay-per-views, Superstars would appear (seemingly unscripted) to give their thoughts on the matches and segments they appeared in earlier in the night.
