Maria And Mike Kanellis' WWE Contracts Expire In Several Weeks

Where will the Power of Love guide them?

The WWE contracts of Maria and Mike Kanellis are set to expire in three weeks, according to a tweet from Maria earlier on Monday. Though she facetiously responded, "Our gym memberships" to a fan's inquisitive response, the couple's two year deals are in fact running out in mid-June, as confirmed by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

The two debuted (well, Maria returned and Mike debuted) on June 18, 2017, at that year's Money in the Bank pay-per-view in St. Louis. Their initial foray on the SmackDown brand was interrupted by both Maria going on maternity leave, and Mike taking time off to enter rehab, in which he achieved sobriety following a painkiller addiction.

The two have been a part of 205 Live since October of last year. It was reported in January that the couple jointly requested their release from WWE, one day after word broke that The Revival also wanted out.

Since that story broke, Mike Kanellis has continued wrestling on 205 Live, most recently against the likes of Akira Tozawa, The Brian Kendrick, and Ariya Daivari, among others.
