MJF Signs Multi-Year Contract Extension With AEW

He's better than you, and you know it...

Maxwell Jacob Friedman, the prodigious 23-year-old whose commitment to villainy and disdain makes him one to watch, has signed a multi-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling.

AEW posted a character-driven video of MJF putting the pen to the paper, which Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful says coincides with a legitimate contract extension for him.

Noted Sapp, "He'll still be in MLW for the duration of the deal he has with them, then will be AEW full-time."

MJF currently reigns as one half of the Major League Wrestling World Tag Team champions alongside Dynasty partner Richard Holliday. They won the belts from Teddy Hart and Brian Pillman Jr on July 6.

Friedman has wrestled on each of AEW's three events thus far. He was runner-up in the Casino Battle Royal at Double or Nothing, being eliminated at the end by Adam Page, before turning up later in the night to insult Bret Hart during the World title reveal.

He later wrestled in a four-way match at Fyter Fest, and on the winning team of a six-man match at last Saturday's Fight For the Fallen.
