New Plans For WWE SmackDown Live Women's Championship Match At WrestleMania 35 Reportedly Revealed

What will Asuka be doing?

With all the attention of the WWE Universe on the battle for the Raw Women's Championship between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, SmackDown Live Women's Champion Asuka has been well and truly cast to one side.

While The Empress Of Tomorrow did successfully defend her title at last Sunday's Fastlane pay-per-view against Mandy Rose, her path to WrestleMania is certainly not very clear at all.

According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, Asuka was supposed to face Lacey Evans at 'Mania in a singles contest, but now, WWE have allegedly changed their minds in favour of a triple threat involving both Rose and Sonya Deville.

After seeing off God's Greatest Creation at Fastlane, Asuka defeated Sonya on this week's SmackDown Live. After the match, Fire and Desire teased a breakup, only adding to the intrigue of any potential triple threat match.

As for Evans, she continues to walk up and down the ramp for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Although, on this week's Raw, she did have a bit of a staredown with Nia Jax... so at least there's that.
