NJPW Announce Show For WrestleMania 36 Week

A surprise to many...

New Japan Pro Wrestling are set to head to the United States later this month as The New Beginning USA live event tour begins on January 24. The promotion will run five shows, with the tour concluding on February 1, at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour will be headlined by FinJuice vs. Guerrillas of Destiny for the IWGP Tag Team Championships in a rematch from Wrestle Kingdom 14. Those in attendance on the tour can also see Jeff Cobb vs. Lance Archer as well as Hiroshi Tanashi and Kota Ibushi in action.

American fans will not have long to wait for NJPW to head stateside again as they announced earlier today that Lion's Break Project 3 will be part of WrestleCon 2020 during WrestleMania week. No matches have been announced as of yet but the Japanese promotion confirmed Hiroshi Tanahashi would be in action along with LA Dojo Young Lions' Ren Narita, Alex Coughlin, Karl Fredericks, and Clark Connors.

The show will take place at The Ritz in Ybor City, Florida on Thursday, April 2. Other professional wrestling shows confirmed for WrestleCon include IMPACT Wrestling, Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling with DDT, and Joey Ryan's P***s Party.
