NJPW Working With ROH Going Forward - Not AEW

All Elite Wrestling can not use New Japan Pro Wrestling talent...

Following the conclusion of last Friday's Wrestle Kingdom 13 event at the Tokyo Dome, representatives from New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring Of Honor, and All Elite Wrestling had a meeting to see if the three promotions could work together in some form or fashion.

According to Dave Meltzer, it appears those talks were unsuccessful for Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks as AEW will not be allowed to use NJPW talent going forward.

However, NJPW will maintain it's current working relationship with ROH. Although, it should be noted that the current contractual relationship between NJPW and ROH will be in place until the Madison Square Garden show on April 6 - what comes after that is unsure at the time of writing.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Meltzer had to say on Wrestling Observer Radio: "New Japan has made the decision that they're going to work with Ring of Honor. All Elite wanted to keep their talent working in New Japan and wanted to partner with New Japan on events and that's not gonna happen. And that may have cost them Kenny Omega."
