NJPW's Jibe At WWE Raw: "We Know There's A Real Shortage Of Professional Wrestling On Monday Nights"

Watch out Vince McMahon!

During last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, The Revival won the Raw Tag Team Championships from Hawkins and Ryder in a Triple Threat match that also involved The Usos.

There was a lot more wrestling on last night's Raw, including a match between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens with Sami Zayn acting as an enforcer at ringside, AND a women's tag that involved Becky Lynch, Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Lacey Evans.

However, last night's WWE Raw was ENDED before the show even went on the air thanks to a jibe from the English New Japan Pro Wrestling Twitter account: "We know there's a real shortage of professional wrestling on Monday nights, so every week we make a new match from our archives free to watch!
"This week, a war between Tomoaki Honma and Katsuyori Shibata from 2016"

New Japan have just come off a big week of wrestling action themselves. Last week saw the finals of the Best Of The Super Juniors take place, while Chris Jericho took on Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Dominion.
