Orange Cassidy Signs With AEW

With much enthusiasm, certainly...

He's "Freshly Squeezed", and he's on board with All Elite Wrestling.

The eclectic Orange Cassidy has officially signed with AEW, revealed today in the latest episode of Being the Elite. There, Cassidy blends a concoction of orange extraction and his AEW contract, creating a beverage that probably wouldn't be recommended for actual consumption.

AEW's Twitter account followed up the video with a tweet stating, "Welcome to the team....@OrangeCassidy is #AllElite."

Cassidy previously appeared as an add-on entrant into the Casino Battle Royal at May's Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. In his appearance, he, with as much energy as a dead car battery, kicked away at Tommy Dreamer with his hands in his jeans pockets, before being eliminated.

The way-too-laid-back Cassidy has seen his profile increase over the preceding months, working indy matches with names that include Scott Steiner, Brian Cage, Shawn Spears, Nick Gage, Homicide, and Austin Theory, among many others. He even wrestled Taka Michinoku as part of WrestleMania weekend, during a rare excursion to the US mainland for Michinoku.
