Raw Star Teases Leaving WWE
Will The Bulgarian Brute leave on Rusev Day?
In recent months, WWE has been going through somewhat of a mini talent exodus. On December 8th, they released Luke Harper, Sin Cara, and Konnor & Viktor of The Ascension. It has also been speculated that The Revival and Matt Hardy will leave the company when their contracts expire in the near future.
One Superstar who won't be leaving is Lana as she signed a new contract with WWE back in November which will keep her with the company until the end of 2024. However, Rusev and Lana could see themselves become like other wrestling couples, Jon Moxley & Renee Young and Peyton Royce & Shawn Spears, as he is still yet to sign a new deal.
WWE has made it a top priority to sign The Bulgarian Brute to a new contract, but as of writing, both parties are still locked in negotiations.
Rusev has now teased that he will leave the company when his contract expires. Last night, he edited his Twitter bio to: "Soon to be free agent." He has since removed the bio, as it currently reads: "Add a bio to your profile."
