Reason Brock Lesnar & Braun Strowman Didn't Actually Come 'Face-To-Face' On Last Night's WWE Raw Revealed

Last night's segment explained...

At the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday, January 27, Braun Strowman will challenge Brock Lesnar for The Beast's Universal Championship.

On last night's Raw, The Monster Among Men appeared with a face-to-face meeting with Lesnar advertised during the show. However, after an exchange with Braun in the ring and Brock on the tron, Lesnar walked down the ramp, around the ringside area, and then back up the ramp again without coming even remotely close to touching his latest challenger.

And now thanks to Dave Meltzer speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, we know why - Strowman still hasn't been cleared and therefore was unable to do anything physical.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Dave had to say: “I want to make something clear, Braun Strowman is not cleared.

“That’s also why what happened tonight happened because he’s not cleared for anything physical yet.”

Braun had elbow surgery towards the end of last year that put his scheduled TLC match with Baron Corbin at the TLC PPV in December in doubt. WWE worked their way around that one, and it looks like they're going to have to negotiate the next couple of weeks in a similar fashion before the two behemoths meet in Pheonix.
