Reason The O.C. & DX WWE Raw Reunion Segment Was Rewritten At Last Minute Revealed

Last night's Raw Reunion show saw AJ Styles of The O.C. take on former Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

During the match, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson interfered, causing DX members Shawn Michaels and Triple H to come out and defend The Architect from the beating that was presumably coming his way.

Then, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash also appeared, chasing The O.C. off in the process.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ricochet was originally supposed to be involved in the segment but was prevented from appearing due to an ongoing elbow infection.

This is a bit of a blow to Ricochet, who has been enjoying a push up the card since Paul Heyman took the reigns on Monday nights as WWE look to nail down the teenage demographic who might well leave them for AEW come the Autumn. The 'rub' that would have been sent his way from DX and The Kliq would have helped the former NXT North American Champion's cause no end.

At the time of writing, it isn't known when Ricochet will return to action.
