Report: AEW Action Figures Coming Soon

Collect your favourite stars soon...

Action figures have been a major part of professional wrestling since WWE asked LJN to produce their first set of toys back in 1984. The first figures released were eight-inch rubberised versions of stars like King Kong Bundy, George "The Animal" Steele and Hulk Hogan.

Since their initial release, action figures have taken on a life of their own as a popular collectable item for adults like Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder and as toys for children. Many varieties of figures are currently available on the market, from Mattel's Elite Collection to crossovers with other toy universes like Masters Of The Universe and Ghostbusters.

The industry has remained big business to this day and now Jay Cochran at Toy News International has reported that Wicked Cool Toys/Jazwares are set to release their first line of action figures inspired by All Elite Wrestling. The toys will debut later this month at the New York Toy Fair on February 22.

For the avoidance of doubt, Cochran wrote: "For you wrestling fans, look for Wicked Cool Toys/Jazwares to premiere its first line of toys and figures inspired by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at this month's New York Toy Fair which kicks off on February 22."
