Report: Big Cass Removed From Independent Event After Several Altercations

A very bizarre night...

An unusual series of incidents reportedly involving former WWE star Big Cass took place at a WrestlePro event in Rahway, NJ on Saturday.

Both Voices of Wrestling and PWInsider have given details as to the series of events that led to Cass being removed from the building, and ultimately leaving in an ambulance.

Cass was reportedly booked on the show as a surprise entrant for a battle royal.

During the course of the evening, Cass confronted Joey Janela, reportedly stemming from Janela's prior run-in with Enzo Amore at a Blink 182 concert. Cass was apparently disruptive to the point where Janela and opponent Dan Maff had to go into another room to plan their match. Accounts indicate that Maff was ready to step in and handle Cass' apparent unprofessional behavior himself if the former WWE talent wasn't calmed down.

Cass then reportedly began accusing others in the the locker room of stealing a sweater that he owned, and was threatening to "take care" of the entire locker room.

He then confronted Pat Buck, who was working his final show before leaving to join WWE as a producer, and members of SCU. Cass reportedly spat at Buck, and asked, "What are you going to do, tough guy?"

Buck responded by drilling Cass with a punch, knocking him to the floor. After the punch, Cass' entire demeanor was said to have changed, and asked why he'd been hit. He was then escorted out of the building by local police.

PWInsider's account cites several fans who claim that while in the presence of police outside the venue, Cass' vehicle was apparently searched, and he was making remarks about himself that were alarming enough to warrant having an ambulance called, in order to escort him to the hospital.
