Ethan Carter III hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV since 30th September edition of Main Event when he lost alongside Eric Young to The Lucha House Party.
Dave Meltzer reports that this is because EC3 suffered a concussion at the end of September, and WWE are keeping him off TV while he recuperates.
Ilja Dragunov is also unable to compete. While he wrestled at NXT UK’s most recent TV tapings in Hull, The Czar has not been able to fulfil his independent wrestling bookings. He was scheduled to face Alexander Wolfe as part of wXw’s show in Dresden on 23rd November but had to be replaced by Oliver Carter. The injury doesn’t appear to be too serious, however, as Dragunov was able to perform a run-in, saving Wolfe from a beat down following the end of the match.
IMPACT Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard was also injured recently. While wrestling for UK based promotion RevPro on the British J Cup, she suffered an eye injury in a match with Gisele Shaw.
Blanchard was scheduled to compete at WrestleCade this weekend, but will now only appear.
