Report: Rumored Name For AJ Styles' WrestleMania Opponent

Who is it?

AJ Styles has been out of action since separating his shoulder during the 2020 Royal Rumble match. He is, however, slated to return to the ring at or before Super Show-Down on February 27, well ahead of WrestleMania 36 on April 5.

WrestleZone has reported on Thursday that Styles is scheduled to perform at WrestleMania in a match with The Undertaker, according to an unnamed source.

No further details on the rumored match have been made public at this time.

The 54-year-old Undertaker did not appear at last year's WrestleMania. His most recent Mania bout came in 2018, when he defeated John Cena in under three minutes in New Orleans.

He's wrestled six matches since that date, three of which have taken place at the bi-annual Saudi Arabia events. His most recent match to date was at last year's Extreme Rules in Philadelphia, where he teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon.

Styles is set to take part in the six-man gauntlet for the Tuwaiq Trophy at Super Show-Down, against Andrade, Bobby Lashley, R-Truth, Rusev and Erick Rowan.
